We have big beef news! We were recently recognized for alignment with the U.S. Beef Industry Sustainability Framework. But, what does that mean? And, why should you care?
What is the U.S. Beef Industry Sustainability Framework?
This framework is adopted across the industry and outlines important areas of sustainability and opportunities for improvement across the “beef value chain.”
What does the recognition mean?
We underwent third-party review via the U.S. Roundtable of Sustainable Beef (USRSB) recognition program. The reviews assessed our approach to sustainability including important principles like:
- Animal health and well-being
- Land and water resources
- Air and greenhouse gas emissions
- And more
This recognition is a testament to our commitment to sustainability initiatives and to providing high-quality, sustainable beef products you can trust.
