Charlie Bradbury is a long time veteran of the Natural Beef space. He was the founding President, CEO and part owner of Nolan Ryan Beef, one of the earliest Natural Beef brands that still maintains a strong regional brand presence in Texas. Charlie joined JBS in 2014 to help develop a strong domestic grass fed beef brand. He led the acquisition of both Grass Run Farms and Imperial American Wagyu Beef, and orchestrated the tremendous growth both brands have experienced in the past five and two years, respectively. Grass Run Farms is among the largest and fastest growing grass fed beef brands in the US. Charlie resides in Huntsville, Texas, where he enjoys managing his own small cattle herd in his spare time.
Dr. Jeff Savell is professor and leader of the meat science section in the Department of Animal Science, and holds the E. M. “Manny” Rosenthal Chair in Animal Science. He also holds appointments on the Faculty of Food Science and Technology. He received his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate in animal science from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Savell teaches the introductory course in meat science where he has taught over 8,000 Aggies since 1982, as well as a course in carcass composition and quality, and team teaches a graduate and undergraduate course in HACCP. In addition, he conducts research on the quality, quantity, safety and usefulness of meat and meat products through his appointment with Texas A&M AgriLife Research.
Professional memberships include the American Meat Science Association (President 2001-2002); the American Society of Animal Science; the Institute of Food Technologists; and the International Association of Food Protein.
Logan Thompson’s research focuses on how the beef industry can product a high-quality, healthy product, while reducing its impact on the environment and to improve the economic returns of those who raise beef cattle. Logan’s career has explored ruminant animals, such as beef cattle, and how they help maintain healthy grasslands, healthy soils, and are important to the livelihoods of billions of people across the glove. He also strives to help develop producer tools to improve the sustainability of the beef cattle producers across the state of Colorado.
Alex joined JBS USA in the fall of 2019. Alex is an inquisitive, creative, and data-oriented professional with a passion for insights-driven impact with 10 years of CPG insights experience. Alex started his career shipping freight within the Food and Beverage industry, then transitioned into analytics and research. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from companies like Kraft Heinz, Miller Coors, and Conagra.
Trevlyn Carson joined the JBS USA beef marketing team in November of 2019. A consumer at heart, Trevlyn focuses on building modern brands and ideas that have the greatest positive impact for customers and consumers alike. Before joining JBS, Trevlyn worked on brands such as Target, Mountain Dew, Budweiser, White Cloud and Natural Vitality Calm. She and her husband are avid college sports fans. Trevlyn always roots for the Texas State Bobcats, Colorado State Rams, and your brand!
