Grass Run Farms is committed to keeping sustainable grass fed beef on the table by participating as an active member of the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef. The USRSB has established six high priority indicators for sustainable beef production to include:
The USRSB is working to advance continuous improvement of the beef supply chain by also developing practiced-based Metrics and Sustainability Assessment Guides which will measure progress against high priority indicators. On behalf of Grass Run Farms, JBS is a founding member of the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef and a current member of the board of directors.
Grass Run Farms is also recognized for its alignment to the U.S. Beef Industry Sustainability Framework. The Framework is an industry-adopted resource that outlines key areas of sustainability and opportunities for improvement across the beef value chain.
