Looking for a family-friendly appetizer to serve at gatherings and on game day? We’ve got a winner for you with this easy air fryer egg roll recipe. They’re filling, too, with hearty Grass Run Farms ground beef.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Grass Run Farms Ground Beef
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ small onion, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • ½ tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups grated colby jack cheese
  • 10 pickle slices
  • 14 egg roll wrappers
  • Store-bought garlic aioli (for dipping)

Directions

  1. Preheat a medium-sized cooking pan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of oil and minced onion. Sauté until onion is translucent.
  2. Add the ground beef, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper, cooking for 3-4 minutes or until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  4. After the beef has cooled, stir in the cheese and sliced pickles.
  5. Using egg roll wrappers, add 2 heaping tablespoons of filling to each wrapper. Tuck and roll the wrapper around the filling.
  6. Brush the top corner of the wrapper with water to seal and then finish rolling the egg roll. Repeat.
  7. Brush or spray rolls with oil to coat.
  8. Place egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, not touching or overlapping. Depending on the size of your air fryer basket and how many egg rolls it can hold at once, cook in batches at 400°F for 3-4 minutes per side, flipping halfway through.
  9. Serve egg rolls warm with garlic aioli for dipping.
