If takeout beef and broccoli is your favorite, you’ll love this flank steak and broccoli stir-fry recipe. It only takes 25 minutes and has just seven ingredients—four of which are already in your pantry.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Grass Run Farms Flank Steak
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 8 oz low sodium beef broth
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Slice flank steak into ½ inch strips.
  3. In a small bowl, toss the flank steak strips and corn starch together until the flank steak is fully coated.
  4. Place the meat into the warmed skillet and brown on both sides until meat reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove meat once it is done cooking.
  5. Add the broccoli florets, minced garlic, and beef broth to the same skillet. Cover the pan, cook over low heat, and steam for 10 minutes or until the broccoli is slightly tender.
  6. While the broccoli steams, whisk the soy sauce, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of corn starch together in a small bowl.
  7. Add the soy sauce mixture and the cooked flank streak strips back to the pan with the broccoli. Stir until combined and simmer on low for 3 minutes or until the soy sauce thickens.
  8. Serve the stir-fry over rice, ramen noodles, or on its own.
