Cincinnati Chili is an iconic American dish that’s full of flavor, filling, and craveable. Kids will love it, and our recipe only requires 15 minutes of prep. Serve it over spaghetti noodles and top with cheddar and diced onions like a true Cincinnatian.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Grass Run Farms Ground Beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup onion, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ Tbsp vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • Cheddar (for topping)

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, heat ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat. Brown 4-5 minutes, breaking up beef with a wooden spoon.
  2. Remove beef mixture from stove, drain excess fat, and transfer to a slow cooker.
  3. Add beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours.
  5. Serve chili as is (or garnished with cheese and onions) over spaghetti.
